Christmas Concert – Nov 27, 2016

West End Chamber Choir presents its Christmas concert, featuring music of two great composers, Benjamin Britten and W.Amadeus Mozart.

Talented harpist Tegan Peemoeller joined the choir for Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, and our wonderful pianist Stanislava Deltcheva accompanied Mozart’s 6 Nocturnes.

Wednesday, Dec 16 – Christmas Songs and Opera Choruses – 7:00 pm at the Vancouver Public Library Central Branch, Alice MacKay room, lower level

Carmina Burana Workshop

Immerse yourself in music this summer!  Join the Summer Choir to sing one of the greatest works ever written for choir and orchestra, Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.

Rehearsals June 15 to July 27 – 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the West End Community Centre:  regular rehearsals Monday, sectional rehearsals Thursday.

Join the WECC for a free afternoon concert at the Vancouver Public Library.  Songs of the World celebrates the diversity of West End Chamber Choir’s singers. We are all Canadians, but born in different countries around the world. In this program you will hear songs in ten languages – English, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Polish, Russian and Bulgarian.
