Winter and Spring with the West End Chamber Choir

We did it! We returned to singing together in person in our rehearsal hall.

In our Fall term there was a small, but very dedicated group of singers. We learned Mozart’s “Regina Coeli”, pieces by Mendelssohn and Bach, and “Songs of Africa”.

Now , in the months ahead we will continue singing (while continuing to follow mask and distance restrictions). We welcome new singers of all voices – Soprani, Altos, Tenori and Basses to join us to sing and learn beautiful music.

Our Winter/ Spring program has new interesting and enjoyable pieces:
  • “Winds” by Larisa Kuzmenko,
  • Choruses from Haydn’s “Creation”
  • “Sunrise ” by a contemporary composer Ola Gjeilo.

In the past we used to have 3 to 5 concerts each season. It has been really hard to not be able to perform a live concert for the last 2 years 😦 I miss that, our singers miss that, and our lovely audience miss it too. That’s why we plan to have our traditional Spring concert in mid May, 2022 (in person) performing the above mentioned pieces with a String Orchestra and piano accompaniment.

Looking forward to welcoming new singers and to continue to work with all the wonderful current members of the West End Chamber Choir! For more information, please email us at :

Have a great time everyone!
