Welcome to our new 2023/2024 season

In the beginning of 2023 a new choir was born – the Aglaea Women’s Choir
(Aglaea is from Greek – splendour, brilliant or shining one).

In our inaugural season from January to June this year 18 wonderful ladies learned 10 songs in 6 languages including one major work by Mozart. We performed these pieces in 2 concerts and the audiences loved it.

Now, in our 1st official season we will continue to enjoy learning and performing more great music. Our first rehearsal of the new season will be on

Wednesday, Sep. 6th, at 7:00pm.

We rehearse every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:30pm at the beautiful sanctuary of the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 1130 Jervis St., Vancouver.

New singers are welcome!

Tenors and Basses are welcome as well!

There is no formal audition. As long as your voice can carry a melody, the conductor will hear you and recommend which section will best suit your voice.
